Qigong - healing exercises
Did you know that physicians now agree that over 70% of disease and illness
is stress related and preventable?
Welcome to our Qigong (pronounced "chee-gung" and
sometimes written as Qi gong, chi gong, or chi kung) web site. We invite you to learn how the simple
steps in Qigong exercise moves, related to Tai Chi and Yoga, can be an excellent tool for self-healing
and inner harmony. Qigong is a 5,000 year old Chinese healthcare modality - sometimes called 'meditation
with movement' that has both endured the test of time and is making a tremendous resurgence at
the threshold of the 21st Century.

Millions Practice
Literally millions practice Qigong in China and around the world each day
to successfully treat diseases ranging from hypertension to cancer. Outwardly, Wuji Qigong is an
exercise and stretching system, focusing on synchronizing the breath with slow movements and guided
visualizations. Upon deeper study, the transformative, healing benefits of this personal healthcare
practice becomes apparent.
“I think you may be interested in knowing what practicing your Qigong system
has done for me. Before I started Qigong I was having real trouble with pain my shoulder. That's
completely gone and I've put on muscle mass for the first time in years. Likewise my own Qi and
general health has increased significantly. Thank you... obviously I'm now excited about taking
one of your Qigong training workshops!” JC - Toronto, CANADA
Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century
In
"Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st
Century,"
our one-hour video documentary that airs on PBS Television nationwide, we provide a unique look
into the world where the elder Masters of this medical Qigong art form dwell. This program is richly
narrated by seasoned actor James Shigata, star of "Flower Drum Song"
and Disney's "Mulan." Viewers are taken on a journey deep into the Chinese and Tibetan
countryside to visit monasteries, temples, schools, and homes of these Masters to watch them perform
and teach their Qigong exercise and healing techniques.
With the growing demands of modern healthcare, these Masters are being asked
to come into the public light. The reason is because of the tremendous scientific evidence that
has been accumulated to show the value of Qigong as a treatment for many chronic diseases that
have no cure with Western Medicine. US government organizations and universities are now spending
millions on research into this area of medicine. A core message that we hope to share is that through
a melding of the East and West--a merging of traditional methodologies and beneficial emerging-technologies--positive
solutions will be found to many problems that plague society today. Qigong shows that people can
take responsibility for their own healthcare and achieve benefits for their body, mind and spirit.

Practical Qigong Teaching Tools
We hope our web site and Qigong products such as our Qigong exercise videotapes
and DVDs --Qigong for Cleansing and Qigong
for Stress Relief --will be exciting and practical teaching tools to help you learn of the
history and current practice of this exciting cultural gift from Asia which may hold the answer
to better healthcare in the next century. Whether is it spelled as qi gong, chi gong, or chi kung,
Qigong is a health maintenance system with concepts that can be traced back some 5,000 years, drawing
on Taoism, Buddhism, Confucian and common sense philosophy.
“Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I have all of your videos and I
love them. The setting is beautiful, the music is beautiful and Francisco's voice is very soothing.
I love all the moves. At first I thought that I wouldn't be able to learn this but the more I practice
the more I am able to achieve. I can't tell you how good I feel after I have completed the tapes.
Thank you both so much for sharing Qigong!” HB – Detroit, MI, USA
Movement of Qi
Like
all Qigong in this way, the enhanced movement of Qi ('chi' - life-force, bioelectric vitality)
is promoted throughout the body as well as the strengthening of Qi for good health and for protecting
you from external influences. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which grew out of Qigong, believes
blocked and stagnant Qi leads to all pain and disease. Proven useful for healing many diseases,
the simple Qigong styles we share in our instructional Qigong videos are suitable for beginners,
seniors, or advanced practitioners, with their roots in Tai Chi, ancient wushu swordplay and Kung
Fu -- as useful for the healer as it is for the warrior... in all of us.
